Serve With Us Through Americorps

We are seeking AmeriCorps State & National and VISTA members who have an interest in helping children who are experiencing homelessness succeed, while working to enhance our program and create a model for organizational sustainability and program expansion. 

AmeriCorps State & National - ​Academic Year (2022-2023) Positions

AmeriCorps State & National members engage in a diverse range of direct service projects to address critical community needs, with the flexibility of a part- or full-time program. We welcome individuals interested in social work, advocacy, education policy, curriculum development, teaching, and literacy.

​​Our State & National Members average 10-25 hours per week and serve during the Fall & Spring semesters. Service includes: Direct service at one after-school program site Monday - Thursday; Projects that will benefit the program such as preparing activities and materials; Friday morning all-team meetings; Participation in the mandatory service days.

AmeriCorps VISTA

AmeriCorps VISTA members serve in a professional setting building capacity for an organization such as writing grants, community outreach and organizing volunteers.

AmeriCorps VISTA members serve full time for one-year terms. Positions are for a full-time, service year with benefits including a living and travel stipend, professional development throughout the service year and a choice of an education award or end of service cash award.
